Back in 2015, the FTC warned that labeling such as biodegradable and eco friendly on dog poop bag packaging is often misleading 💩 Basically the FTC wants poop bag manufacturers to have scientific evidence that the bags will “completely break down and return to nature...within a reasonably short period of time.” Some brands that you should check out: @poopbagsdotcom @biobag @biodogradablebags 🐶 However, unfortunately even if the bag meets this criteria, the conditions in a landfill don’t always allow this to happen ☹️ So, not only does it matter *what* bag you use, but *how* you dispose of it.
